The Cardinal design is beautiful but the lid is maddening!! It’s a fine urn if you never expect to open it again. The threads do not align therefore making it awful to open or close the urn. Just very frustrating. As I said, if you don’t plan to ever open the urn again it’s fine. If you do, just prepare for great amounts of frustration!
Hello Janine, to line up the lid please turn the lid in reverse until you feel the click of the threads setting on the track. Then turn forwards to close.
